Endless Comic

Endless Storytelling is a virtual reality (VR) project crafted using Blender and the Valve Hammer and viewed via VR headset. This immersive experience transports you to a cryptic comic book-inspired desert landscape, offering a unique blend of free storytelling and mental exploration. The work was premiered live in Malmö at an art exhibit in STPLN, Stapelbedsparken Malmö in Januari 2022.

Within this mysterious VR adventure, the observer had the power to shape the storyline through their interpretation of the images who had no apparant start or finish.

Picture yourself wandering through a captivating desert landscape, filled with secrets and mysteries waiting to be uncovered.

You're not just an observer but an active participant in the unfolding narrative.

By challenging traditional storytelling the endless comic enabled endless interpretations.

The observers that experienced the images all provided their own unique take and gave the art installation a life of its own.

I wanted the images to have a comic book feel to them. This was accomplished using a grayscale raster effect. Overall the images was heavely modified transform them from photographs to printed images.
